Last September, President François Hollande visited Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) and dined at the LeCorto restaurant, which was one of the city’s most prominent venues that night.
François Hollande was the first French president to visit Vietnam for twelve years. The head of state tried to advance the pawns of France in this communist country, one of the most dynamic economies of Southeast Asia.
The French President and his delegation had booked the first floor of the Le Corto restaurant with 24 guests and 12 people from the President’s closest team at the Elysee. It is the French chef Sakal, who created a special menu to welcome the President mixing as he knows so well to make the French and Vietnamese flavors.
Le Corto still serves the “President Menu”, available Here
